    Invalid object name 'PA10601'

We are testing the intergration of a new Purchase Order and the error log is giving us the following error:

         11/08/2007 04:11:25 - SQL: Invalid object name 'PA10601'.

What is confusing is that the client does not have the Project Accounting module and we are not trying to pass an PA data on the line. Here's the sample PO doc we are testing with:

    <eConnect xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

    Re: Invalid object name 'PA10601'

This customer is registered for Project Accounting so I am assuming they installed it at one point in time and its in a partial state.   If they do not wish to have Project Accounting the following steps can be used to remove all PA objects:

1.) Microsoft Dynamics GP go to File | Maintenance | SQL

2.) In the SQL Maintenance window select the following

    Database: Dynamics

    Product: Project Accounting

Company: Whatever company this is for

3.) on the right side check Drop table and Drop Auto Procedure

    4.) Hit Process

5.) Now change the drop down in SQL Maintenance window to the following

Database: whatever the companies database is Product Project Accounting

Company: The company you would like to perform this on

6.) on the right side check Drop table and Drop Auto Procedure

    7.) Hit Process

In addition to the above there may be some views in the company database that will need to be removed.   The names of the views are:

    POP31310

    POP31300

    POP31110

    POP31100

    POP11310

    POP11300

    POP11110

    POP11100

    POP01303

    PAVW31102

    PAVW31101

    PAVW30601

    PAVW30600

    PAVW10731

    PAVW10721

    PAVW10702

    PAVW10701

    PAVW10601

    PAVW10600

    PAV43100

    PAV0104

    PAV0103

    PAV0102

    PAV0101

    PAV0100

    PAV0001

    PAV0000

    PA01200

    PA01100

Once you have removed the PA tables and views the error message should go away.  If you continue to have a problem please let me know!

    Thanks,

My mistake, the company doesn't have PA registered and looking through File Maintenace-SQL the Product does not exist under Dynamics or any of their Company databases.

    Re: Invalid object name 'PA10601'

You are running into a bug that is resolved with hotfix 1 for eConnect 9.0 SP3.   I will attach the hotfix for you.   It will require you to install 9.0.3 which can be found at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/downloads/servicepacks/econnect9.0runtimedownloadsforisvs.htm?printpage=false for the runtime release or the full version is located at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/support/downloads/servicepacks/mbs_econnect_9.htm?printpage=false.

If you still have an issue after loading the hotfix please let me know.

    Hi Steve,

I have the same issue.  Can you please send me the link where I can get the hot fix?

    Thanks a lot.

    Re: Invalid object name 'PA10601'

I'm thinking that might be an issue with Microsoft. You'll have to log on to Partnersource or Customersource and get it. If you don't have access let me know and I'll refer a VAR to you (I'm not a VAR myself, but I know plenty).

Would someone from Microroft care to opine on whether I'm able to post patches here?

    Hi Steve,

I have looked thru partnersource and I can't find the link.  What I find is the runtime version SP3 but no hotfix. Can you please send me the patch?  I would really appreciate it if you could send it to me.

    Kind Regards

You're right, it's no longer there. That was probably something that they had just discovered at that time. Just uninstall and reinstall 9.0.3, you should be find.
